Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will adore exploring the hiking trails or the greenway, on foot, horseback, or by bike; and enjoying whitewater sports (rafting, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing in Mercus, or canyoning, particularly in the Vicdessos and Orlu valleys). The most daring can try the climbing site in Auzat, the treetop adventure course in Orlu, trail running and road running in the Ax valley, or even caving or paragliding at Prat d'Albis...

Our region is also enjoyable in winter: Ax 3 Domaines, the Plateau de Beille for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, Nordic walking, and dog and horse sledding, or Chioula, Ascou, Mijanes, and Port de l'Hers...
